Little Updates
Just a little update so you all know what I’ve been up to and kind of summarizing it all into a blog post!
At the moment the visa is kind of a hassle. So I’m still in Vietnam waiting patiently and working on projects as well.
I start Thai school when I get back and although I’m super excited about this I’m very nervous for this is a big deal for me to pass.
I’m super excited about the OPG team coming in June so I’m working behind the scenes to prepare them in what to pack along with what they will be teaching, singing, and what games to prepare. A lot goes into this and I’m excited to already be here eagerly waiting their arrival! They will be traveling up North to the Jungle as well as doing English Camp with Buddhist & Muslim College students in Bangkok.
I’m also working on trying to get funding for the WICS (Wisdom International Community School) Foundation up North. So in that process I’m hoping by fall I will have a video made of these men who are sold out to Christ in the ministry. It’s hard to support something when you don’t know much about it and they have no access or supplies to do this so I’m hoping this can help open more opportunities for them in the future.
A very important prayer request is that OPG is trying to work with RBAC College here in Thailand so then we can partner with colleges in America. This is so we can have a door constantly open for Christian college students to come to Thailand and shine the light of Jesus. It’s a process with credits and professors but I know in time, this will happen because with God all things are possible.
On Sundays we have a second service of just English. So I work with the worship team since the songs are all in English and also preach in these services. After that we split into four different classes. I teach English to adults for an hour and then to high school students for over another hour.
To be honest with you guys, because of my Visa costs with Thai school, Vietnam and travel expenses, it just added up. I’m going to have to start a fundraiser page for my funds ran out. If you have any questions feel free to message me and ask me. I will be setting up a page soon on Facebook!
At the moment I feel like I can’t add any more to my plate. I would go into a lot more detail of all what is involved that I listed up there but I don’t want to bore you all to death. Just letting you all know, even though it’s work, I am finding joy in this journey and wouldn’t want it any other way!
If it’s all for one soul – it’s worth it.
