แบ่งปันความสุข = Share Happiness

Lately I’ve been realizing where my happiness and joy really come from. Right now I couldn’t be happier with my life.

Is my life perfect? No.

Do I have struggles? Yes.

Do I have everything all together? No.

Do I miss my family? Yes.

Do I have all the answers? No.

Do I love what I do? Yes.

One night I was lying in bed asking myself, “What do I really want to do with my life?” And my reply was, “To share God’s love with people.” And that’s exactly what I’m doing. How good is God you know? When it comes down to it, I’m literally living my dream. So I should be happy all the time right?

Well…sometimes in life if we always focus on the one thing we are missing out on or don’t have, we miss out on all the blessings God has given us in that moment. We think by receiving what we desire, that once we posses it, we will be satisfied. I mean I don’t struggle with this at all (totally joking). I know this is a trick from Satan to distract our hearts and minds from the Truth.

Do degrees, things, vehicles, achievements, money, and even relationships satisfy our deepest need? Are these things that fill us with true joy and happiness? Some of your answers might be: Yes. No. Maybe. I would say yes, but only for a little while and it dwindles away till we find something/someone else. It’s an endless cycle.

I have found if we focus on what brings us true joy – Jesus – the things that we desire become smaller and smaller and out of focus. I’m not saying these things are bad things we want, but when they aren’t our main priority this allows Christ to fill us up with Him = our Joy. When Jesus becomes our main focus in life, His Truth becomes reality, His Light shines brighter in our lives, and His Presence gets sweeter everyday.

Joy lies in what Christ has done for you in the past.

Joy lies in knowing that you don’t deserve amazing grace but receive it daily.

Joy lies in what you know Christ will do for you in the future.

There’s just no greater joy than knowing you are where God wants you.

Wherever you are today – thank God. Don’t let Satan steal your joy from within. Take it back. Declare what Christ has given you and live it by sharing this happiness. That’s what completes you. That’s what gives you joy. Sharing Him.
